Terms of Service
Last updated: October 2, 2026
These Terms govern your use of tango-friends-club.com and the purchase of classes from Tango Friends Club, operated by Xenia Kirilyuk as a sole proprietorship, New York, NY ("the Club"). By booking a class or using this website, you agree to these Terms.
1. Services
The Club offers in-person Argentine tango classes for women in Midtown Manhattan: drop-in classes, 4-class passes, and multi-week modules. Class schedules, locations, prices, and formats are listed on the website and may change; the schedule on the site is always the current one.
2. Booking and payment
- All payments are processed securely by Stripe. The Club never sees or stores your card details.
- A booking is confirmed only after payment (in full or deposit) is received.
- Deposits reserve your place. The remaining balance is due no later than the first class, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- Prices are in US dollars. The price at the moment of purchase is the price that applies.
3. Cancellation and refunds
- Full refund — any time before the module or pass period starts, no questions asked. Deposits are refundable under the same condition.
- If we cancel or postpone a class or module for any reason, you receive a 100% refund.
- After the start date, payments are non-refundable, but your place is transferable to another person or convertible to credit toward a future module.
- To request a refund or transfer, email kseniakirilyuk@gmail.com.
4. Attendance and rescheduling
- Drop-in classes: reschedule free up to 12 hours before the session.
- 4-Class Pass: use any four sessions within the current module.
- Full Module: one missed class may be transferred to a friend; make-up options are offered when possible but are not guaranteed.
- Please arrive a few minutes early. Doors close at the start time so the class can begin on time.
5. Health and participation
- Dance is a physical activity. You participate at your own risk and confirm that you are in adequate health to take part.
- Consult a physician before starting if you have (or suspect) any medical condition that could be affected by physical exercise.
- Inform the instructor before class of any injuries, conditions, or pregnancy so exercises can be adjusted for you.
- The Club is not liable for injuries resulting from participation except where liability cannot lawfully be excluded.
6. Conduct
We keep a respectful, welcoming space. The instructor may ask a participant to leave a class for disruptive or unsafe behavior, without refund for that session.
7. Filming and intellectual property
- End-of-module choreography videos are provided for your personal use and memories. Please don't use them for commercial purposes without written permission.
- Website content, branding, and teaching materials belong to the Club and may not be copied or reused without permission.
8. Privacy
Your personal data is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.
9. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version on this page, with its date, is the one currently in effect. Continued use of the services after changes means acceptance of the updated Terms.
10. Governing law and contact
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York. Questions: kseniakirilyuk@gmail.com.
